• Long-term management of the inflammatory arthritides (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis )

• Diagnosis and management of connective tissue diseases such as Sjogren’s Syndrome and  vasculitis (e.g. ANCA vasculitis and Giant Cell Arteritis)

​Ben specialises in the management of complex connective tissue diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Sjogren’s Syndrome and vasculitis, providing a regional, tertiary specialist rheumatology service for the North West of England from his NHS clinic at the Kellgren Centre for Rheumatology, Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI).

In his NHS practice Ben also manages the award winning biologics service  for high-cost drug therapies.
